Lighthouse® Pro Firmware Upgrade
NOTE: Version 4 is a complete rewrite of the firmware and represents a significant improvement in reliability and functionality. We recommend that all installations upgrade to version 4. The Save Settings and Restore Settings mechanism used for preserving outlet setup will not work when upgrading from versions 2.x or 3.x. Therefore, you will need to re-enter your outlet settings and options after the upgrade.
Due to the extensive changes, please download a copy of the new Version 4 Installation Manual for reference.

these instructions can result in a non-functional Lighthouse.
- For security purposes, Firmware upgrades cannot be performed remotely across the internet. You must run the upgrade program on your local LAN.
- We highly recommend that you use a hardwired Ethernet connection during the upgrade procedure. A wireless
connection may drop out during the firmware transfer resulting in corrupted data.
- Once the upgrade starts, do not unplug your Lighthouse Pro, use the remote, or otherwise disturb the console until
the upload is finished and the unit has rebooted.
Installation Procedure
- Before attempting an upgrade, press the ADV OPT button on the remote to check your existing version. There is no need to upgrade if you already have the latest version.
- Download the zip file and uncompress it to a temporary location.
- Run the executable file and wait for your Lighthouse Pro to appear in the list.
- Click to highlight your Lighthouse in the list, then click the Download button. The new firmware will be downloaded.
- IMPORTANT: DO NOT CLOSE THE UPGRADE PROGRAM UNTIL YOUR LIGHTHOUSE REBOOTS!
- If your Lighthouse Pro does not show up in the list, click the Search menu. If it still doesn't appear, select the Ping Specific IP menu item and enter the IP address of your Lighthouse. In some cases, you may have to reboot your Lighthouse Pro and/or turn off your computer's firewall.
